Kalla Natural Sponge

Kalla Sponge is a premium-grade natural sponge, size 5–5.5 inches, imported from the Mediterranean Sea, Greece.

A unique property of natural sea sponges is the presence of marine enzymes that help inhibit fungi and bacteria. Genuine natural sponges do not require sun-drying or hot-water soaking unlike synthetic sponges.

Types & Characteristics

Fine Silk Sponge
Soft, dense, and fine-textured (solid sponge form with excellent water absorption)
Ideal for bathing and face cleansing

Honeycomb Sponge
Soft, fluffy, and quick-drying due to larger pores (solid sponge form with high water absorption)
Ideal for bathing

Sponge Colors
Yellow:
Softer than the brown type, as it is naturally bleached using safe plant-based extracts that are gentle for baby skin
Average lifespan: 2–5 months
Bright, clean, and visually appealing

Brown:
Natural, unbleached color (harvested from the sea in its original shade)
Longer lifespan than yellow (average 6 months or more)
Retains full natural enzymes and marine minerals that help inhibit fungi and bacteria
Slightly firmer texture than yellow, but still gentle and non-irritating as it is a natural sponge
Recommended for babies aged 4–6 months+ (can be used for newborns, but it is firmer than the yellow type)

How to Use
Detailed instructions are included in the box.
Before first use, check the sponge for any remaining shell fragments, coral, or sand particles.

After use, rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Gently squeeze—do not twist, as this may tear the sponge. Let it air-dry in a well-ventilated area. Do not expose to direct sunlight, hot water, or sterilizers, as heat can make the sponge brittle and shorten its lifespan.

For best care, place the sponge in a mesh bag and hang it in the shade or a ventilated space. Clipping the sponge directly may cause tearing.

Air-drying alone is sufficient.
Leaving the sponge constantly damp or soaking in water may cause mold growth.
